Reveal a clearer, more radiant complexion with our advanced Elipse IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatment. This non-invasive technology is designed to address pigmentation, sun damage, uneven skin tone, post inflammatory scaring and vascular concerns such as thread veins - all while preserving the integrity of the skin’s surface.
Safe, effective, and fully customised to your skin, IPL Skin Rejuvenation delivers visible, long-lasting results while supporting overall skin health. We have been treating skins with IPL for 10+ years - rest assured you are in safe hands in our care.
Why we choose Ellipse?
We have selected Ellipse IPL for its gold-standard safety, precision, and clinical performance. Using a patented dual-filtering system, Elipse delivers only carefully controlled wavelengths of broad-spectrum pulsed light to multiple layers of the skin simultaneously.
This advanced technology targets key chromophores in the skin, including hemoglobin and melanin. By breaking down excess pigmentation, reducing diffuse redness, and coagulating thread veins, it helps restore clarity and balance to the complexion. The result is a brighter, more even-toned, and visibly refreshed appearance, with continued improvements developing over time.

FAQs
-
Yes. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a well-established, non-invasive treatment that is safe when performed by a trained professional using appropriate settings for your skin type. A full consultation and patch test are required to assess suitability prior to treatment.
-
Most clients describe the sensation as a brief warm snap or flick against the skin. Discomfort is usually mild, and the treatment is generally well tolerated.
-
IPL Skin Rejuvenation can be used on:
Face
Neck
Chest / Décolletage
Hands
Arms
Back and shoulders
Suitable treatment areas for your specific concerns will be discussed during your consultation & patch test appointment.
-
Downtime depends on the concern being treated:
Thread Veins: Redness, swelling, and warmth can occur and may last for several days.
Pigmentation: Treated pigmentation will darken and form a light micro-crusting, which naturally sheds within 7–10 days.
For best results, it is advised not to plan any special events for at least two weeks following treatment.
-
Some improvement may be visible once the skin has healed, particularly after pigmentation has shed. Results continue to develop over several weeks, with progressive improvement seen throughout a treatment course.
-
A course of 3–6 treatments is typically recommended, spaced 3 weeks apart, depending on your skin concerns and response to treatment.
-
Certain medical conditions, medications, or skin conditions may mean IPL is not suitable. These include photosensitive conditions, active infections, or recent use of photosensitising medications. A full medical consultation is required before treatment.
-
IPL is not recommended during pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, suitability will be assessed during consultation and treatment may be postponed as a precaution.
-
Makeup should not be applied for 48 hours following treatment to allow the skin to recover and reduce the risk of irritation or infection.
-
Sun exposure must be completely avoided for 3–4 weeks before and after treatment. Daily use of high-protection SPF is essential, as sun exposure can increase the risk of adverse pigmentation and compromise results. Aditionally any fake tan needs to be completely off the skin for 7-10 days.
-
IPL Skin Rejuvenation is suitable for Fitzpatrick skin types I–III only. Darker skin types are not suitable due to an increased risk of pigmentation changes. However, we offer other, more suitable treatment options for darker skin tones. A skin health consultation is recommended to assess your skin and create a safe, personalised treatment plan.
